  • New Real Property Depreciation Methods
Depreciation Methods RH and RM
  • Two new Remaining Value over Remaining Life depreciation methods
Database Changes
  • Database updated to the latest version – SAP® SQL Anywhere 17
  • Accommodate the new depreciation methods
  • Note: While moving to this new version, the application will perform a database conversion
New Tax Regulations included
  • Section 179 expense deduction increased to a max of $1,020,000 for the year 2020
  • Increase in depreciation caps on automobiles
  • Update to form 4562

Downloading Full Version Sage Fixed Assets Network Suit
Note:
  • Downloading will install the suite on Network Server only and will not update the Client installation automatically
  • The new version download requires update.NET 4.5.2, if not done, download it and reboot the system
  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Package (x86) is essential for Crystal 2016 runtime
  • The previous database needs conversion to move to Sage Fixed Assets 2019.1
Installing From The Server
  • Go to Start > All Programs > Open Sage, Advisor Update and check if 2019.1 release is listed
  • If not – Click on the Check for Updates to find it there
  • Put a check mark against the Sage Fixed Assets product listed
  • Click on Download & Install or Download Only, Click Yes and wait till the process Finishes
  • Once completed, it will prompt to launch the Database Utility – Network Depreciation & Tracking
Fixed Assets – Database Conversion:
  • All Database need Conversion prior to updating Sage Fixed Assets Network program
  • In the Database Utility – Network Depreciation & Tracking you will see “Ready to Convert” status for all Databases
  • Just click Next till it Converts them and then Close
  • It will show the status of how many databases have been converted
