QuickBooks Error Code -6129 0 - The error usually occurs when the user tries to save the company file but due to some reasons, the file doesn’t get saved.

Follow these steps to fix QuickBooks Error Code -6129, 0

Method 1: Use Admin Credentials to Log-in to your Windows:

Check whether you are able to open the company file or not. If not, your company files need to be updated. To do so, you require Admin Credentials to update your company files. If you don’t have admin credentials, connect with your IT Team.

Before you start any of the methods mentioned below, just go through them once and if you find it easy, then proceed further.

Method 2:

  • Select Leave and then take a look at Easy-Step Interview.
  • Now, a message - “Save the file?” will appear. Select yes.
  • Now, enter the following credentials - file name. Now, click on the Save Credentials.
Method 3:
Rename .ND File (QuickBooks Network Descriptor)
  • Check and find QuickBooks .ND Files and Folder in your system’s hard drive.
  • Now, right-click on the file which has an old name, click on rename and then click on rename.
  • Here, you need to make sure that you type .OLD after the file name. Press Enter key.
  • Move to the next step to access the same company file in multiple systems. However, if you use QuickBooks on only one system, you will be able to open the QuickBooks file then.
  • Now, go to the Start Window button and then click on Program → Click on QuickBooks → QB DBSM.
  • Now, click on the tab - Scan Folder.
  • If you don’t see any folder with the company file, select Add Folder option to do so.
  • Then click on Scan.
  • Select the Close button when the scan finishes.
  • Then, try to open the company file.
Solution 4: Now, move QB Company file to another folder.
  • Create One New Folder.
  • Now, move QB Company File to a newly created folder.
  • If you use QuickBooks on one system, it is easy to open QuickBooks using another folder.
  • If you see the same file in multi-user mode, go to the next step.
  • Select the Start button → Click on Program → Click on QuickBooks and then QuickBooks DBSM.
  • Now, click on the Scan button
  • If no folder contains company, add the folder and then add the file in it.
  • Select the Scan button.
  • Wait for the scan to complete
  • Now, Open QuickBooks Company File.
